Todd regularly counsels business owners on a variety of issues from creation and operation, to preventing and resolving disputes between owners, to sale, purchase or dissolution of the business and its operations. Todd represents and counsels a diverse array of businesses, including companies developing, owning and operating port facilities, golf courses and other amenities and restaurants, as well as realty companies and realtors and individuals and companies involved in government contracting, IT, manufacturing, stevedoring, logistics, military security, and the construction of military vessels and has worked with client efforts in Europe, Asia, and South and Central America.

​Whether working on due diligence as part of the sale or purchase of a business, assisting with overseas resource development, logistics and transportation, or developing and negotiating agreements concerning coal, metals, manufacturing or commercial leases here in the States, working with U.S. Government contractors, or providing general counseling geared toward increasing effective business operation and the avoidance of future lawsuits and other adverse issues, Todd equips the business owner with the tools to make a business work successfully and profitably.

Todd pursues his clients’ interests with issues involving, among other things, antitrust, class action defense, products liability, construction, ERISA, unfair trade practice, corporate espionage, professional malpractice, wrongful death, breach of contract and environmental, medical, and other regulatory matters. Todd is at home addressing these and other difficult business issues in both state and federal courts, before various governmental agencies and with mediators and arbitration panels.

In addition to ​practicing law in the United States, Todd practiced internationally in the Pacific Rim after completing a judicial clerkship with a State Supreme Court Justice and supervising multiple practice areas of a State Attorney General’s Environmental Section.
